NEWCA Curriculum

Lesson plans are prepared by lead teachers of each class with monthly themes provided by school. From many different resources and curriculum books available, teachers put together art & craft, language art, manipulative/math, music & movement, science, and community activities relevant to the theme of the week, covering all different developmental areas such as Cognitive, Language, Social Studies, Math, Science, and Motor skills. Threes and Fours classes also have Letter of the Week and Number of the Week which they have variety of activities for.

Extra-curricular Activities (Special Activities)

Special Activity classes are offered in 4 different subjects, Tae-Kwon-Do, Dance, Art, & Music to children in Threes, Fours, and Kindergarten classes. Special Activities are optional, and open up 2 times a year, Fall and Spring. Each activity class has about 12 sessions and meets once a week for 30 to 45 minutes. There is a special activity fee for each subject.
